recoup it collects only the information necessary to provide automatic price tracking and account access:

Account Details: Your email address and secure password for logging into your private account.
Tracked Items: Costco item numbers (SKUs), item names, purchase dates, and purchase prices from receipts you upload or enter.
Alert Settings: Your preferred notification choices (email alerts or in-app notifications).

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used exclusively to:

Organize your recent purchases and calculate your 30-day price adjustment window.
Monitor Costco prices for drops on the items in your shopping history.
Generate printable Member Services refund summary cards so you can claim money back.

3. Data Protection & Security

We use industry-standard security safeguards to protect your account and purchase records. Your receipts are processed privately and tied strictly to your individual account.

4. Your Data, Your Control

You have full ownership of your data. You can download a complete CSV export of all your receipts, tracked items, and alerts at any time directly from your Settings page. You can also permanently delete your account and all associated records whenever you choose.
